Service Description
Neurotoxin course- 12pm-5:00pm Neurotoxin hands-on practice only. Proof of didactic knowledge through certification from prior course will be required at registration. Registered Nurse (RN or LPN), Nurse practitioner, or physician assistant. Proof of Licensure will be required during registration. Must have proof of prior knowledge on the following: -Neurotoxin treatment areas -Mechanism of action and Facial Anatomy of injected areas -Areas to avoid -Indications -Safety and needle-stick injury -Preparation and storage of products -Cautions, contraindications, common complications and how to respond Course will cover -Key pre-treatment tips prior to injection. -Preparation of products. -Off-label and on-label areas of treatment. -Patient: Medical History, consent forms , treatment plan and communication. -Hands on preparation, product injection, and post treatment education. -Follow-up treatment scenarios -Scenarios and setup based on patient concerns -Treating in conjunction to other aesthetic treatments -Knowing the difference in wrinkle relaxer brands (cost, effectiveness, units counts)
